A Clay County man was arrested after Kanawha County deputies said he broke into a garage over the weekend.
James Stephen Myers Jr. age 36, of Bomont, Clay County, was charged with breaking and entering.
It happened Saturday afternoon along Buff Lick Road. Deputies said a neighbor reported seeing Myers breaking into a neighbor's garage in the area.
Sgt. K.L. Washburn and Deputy B.K. Howery discovered the the suspect vehicle in Clendenin at the Save-A-Lot store later that day. Deputies also found a loaded rifle and other items stolen from the garage.
Myers was taken to Kanawha County Magistrate Court where he was released on a $5,000 bond.
