BANK ROBBERY SENTENCING Lincoln County Woman Scheduled For Sentencing In Bank Robbery Case

A Lincoln County woman who admitted to armed robberies at a bank and a nursing home is due back in federal court for sentencing.
Morgan Marie Mullins of Hamlin faces at least seven years in prison and a $750,000 fine when she is sentenced Thursday in Charleston.
She pleaded guilty last year to a federal bank robbery charge and a state armed robbery charge.
Mullins admitted to stealing prescription painkillers and other controlled substances May 2 from the Teays Valley Center nursing home in Hurricane where she worked. She also admitted that on May 22 she robbed a City National Bank branch in West Hamlin of $3,000.
Mullins admitted she had been addicted to oxycodone for more than three years.
