A water main break on Greenbrier Street caused four accidents in a matter of five minutes during the commute home Monday evening.
It happened about 7:30 p.m. in the area of Airport Road and Hemmingway Subdivision in Charleston.
The water froze and caused several cars to slide. The state Division of Highways salted the roadway, but drivers were asked to use caution while traveling through the area Tuesday morning.
