A Buckhannon man has been arrested for allegedly calling the Upshur County Board of Education and making a threat.
Tony Vincent Herndon, 45, was charged with threats of terrorist acts after he allegedly called the board office and left a recorded message that he wanted his rights and privileges reintstated to allow him to be on school property, according to a criminal complaint filed in Upshur County Magistrate Court.
The complaint stated that Herndon said that if he did not have his rights and privileges reinstated that the "Board of Education knows what happened in Newtown, Conn."
Herndon was being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
