A woman struck by a vehicle late Sunday in Charleston has died.
Latisha Green, 32, of Dunbar was walking along Route 21 between Chandler Drive and Washington Street West in Charleston about 10 p.m. Sunday when she was struck by an oncoming car, said Lt. Shawn Williams of the Charleston Police Department.
Williams said the victim's mother said Green had set out to walk back to Dunbar.
Green was taken to an area hospital with head injuries where she later died.
