An elderly man had to be taken to the hospital after being hit in the head with a brick Saturday night. Metro 911 dispatchers say the 77-year-old suffered head injuries.
Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies say a fight broke out at the man's house on Pinewood Drive outside of Sissonville around 8:45 Saturday night. The man somehow got hit in the head with a brick during the fight.
Police took one person into custody but say they are still searching for the person who hit the man.
Police are on scene at a home just outside of Charleston toward the Sissonville area where an elderly man says he was hit in the head with a brick.
It happened at the man's home on Pinewood Drive, just off of Sissonville Drive around 8:45 Saturday night. Metro 911 dispatchers say a 77-year-old man called, saying he was hit in the head. Police are on scene trying to sort out the situation. Dispatchers say the victim suffered head injuries and was transported to the hospital. Our crew on the scene says two people are in custody.
