Bringing in dog food, members of SAFE, a no kill rescue group, saw at least 36 dogs at the house not far from the county dog pound in Logan. They say the owner--who we agreed not to photograph to gain access to the property-- is well intentioned but overwhelmed by close to 50 animals.
She denied that but has agreed to let the no kill group try to adopt out most of the pets thru Facebook . Six people and the dogs are living in and around the house with no running water.
The dog warden said he will have to seize some dogs that appear ill, but hopes cooperation between the dogs' owner and the rescuers will end the ongoing problem.
