An Ohio woman was charged with trafficking heroin after police said they found 74 packages of heroin in her home.
Cynthia J. Skaggs, 54, of West Portsmouth was arrested Thursday. The suspect was charged in connection with an incident that happened in the summer, according to a news release from the Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini. Deputies and troopers from the Ohio State Highway patrol stopped the suspect's car June 8. The suspect then lead police to her home where they said they discovered 3.6 grams of heroin in 74 packages, the release said.
Skaggs was charged with trafficking in heroin near a juvenile, trafficking heroin, possession of heroin, tampering with evidence and possession of criminal tools. She was lodged in the Scioto County Jail.
