Kanawha County sheriff's deputies said an Elkview man was arrested after he allegedly stole some electronic items from the store and fled from a loss prevention officer.
Sean Bland, 22, was arrested following an incident at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Kmart, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
Deputy B.K . Howery responded to the Kmart for a reported shoplifting. The release said the deputy learned the suspect had stolen some electronic items from the store. When the loss prevention officer attempted to stop him, the suspect jumped into a car and fled, the release said.
Howery drove to Bland’s residence and apprehended him and recovered the stolen cell phone charger, the release said. The deputy also learned Bland was wanted on four felony charges -- two charges of fraudulent use of an access device and two counts of computer fraud.
Bland was taken to the South Central Regional Jail where he was awaiting arraignment.
