WVU fan packed Recovery Sports Grill Saturday afternoon for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. The Mountaineers played against Syracuse.
"We're having a great time. Everybody in this room is rooting. I'm not going to say one bad thing about Syracuse. I haven't seen any of their fans," said Robert Malcolm.
But there was one Syracuse fan, who works at Recovery Sports Grill. Carrie Deleston said, "It's intimidating being in the same room with all these Mountaineer fans. I don't want to get rooted out of my own establishment. But yes, I'm an S.U. fan."
Ethan Dale celebrated his 21st birthday at Recovery and before halftime, he said a good gift would be a Mountaineer win. "Of course WVU, they play hard and go all the way."
The Mountaineers ended up losing the bowl game to Syracuse 38-14.
