Police have released the name of the victim in a Christmas day stabbing in the capital city.
Police said James Green was stabbed by a woman on Charleston's East End early Tuesday.
No word on any charges just yet.
Two people are recovering are they were stabbed on Charleston's East End Tuesday morning.
Police say an injured man and woman showed up at Charleston General Hospital around 7am.
Investigators think the stabbing took place in or near an apartment building, after discovering a blood trail on the sidewalk near Temple Israel on Washington Street East.
Officers say the man suffered a chest wound, and the woman had a cut on her hand.
At this time, it is unclear if anyone has been charged.
