It's the ultimate show of support for a woman living with stage four lung cancer. A woman shaved her head in support of her mother who has undergone treatment for the disease.
Like many cancer patients, Marie Gould lost her hair after undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Her daughter, Jennifer, made a trip across the country to support her mom and become her "cancer buddy." Jennifer shaved her head at House of Dimitri Salon in St. Albans Saturday so her mother wouldn't have to fight the disease alone. Other family members also cut their hair and donated it to Locks of Love.
"It comes from the heart that they do something like that and you can't help but love and appreciate them," says Marie Gould.
