Police made a large drug bust at a motel in Barboursville where a suspect allegedly jumped from a second-story window.
Megan Pezoldt, 27, of Oak Grove, Ky., Kelsey Albaugh, 19, of Southgate, Mich., Lenard Stewart, 34, of Romulus, Mich., Eric Stewart, 31, of Romulus, Mich. and Charles Edward Allen III, 20, were arrested.
On Thursday, Cabell County sheriff's deputies received a complaint about a woman being held against her will in one of two rooms located at Best Western, according to documents filed at the Cabell County Magistrate Court. Deputies simultaneously checked both rooms and said they discovered two women inside one room, the documents said. When deputies entered the second room, three men scrambled toward the window, the documents said. One suspect jumped out of the window and injured himself in the fall. Deputies said they found several baggies of a tan chunky substance they believed to be heroin. Officers said they found 54.6 grams of heroin, a bag with various pills and $2,880.
All five suspects were being held at the Western Regional Jail.
