Police said a man was found dead in the parking lot of a technical school in Pike County, Kentucky.
Pikeville police said a man was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of the Big Sandy Technical School at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the department. Police believe it was an isolated incident and that there was no threat to the school. A nearby daycare voluntarily went on lock down, police said.
The Pikeville Police Department is still investigating the incident.
