If you’re looking to have a good night New Year’s Eve, then the Community Music Association has your ticket to a night of fun. The association on Monday announced its lineup for GoodNight 2012, which will provide free trolley service on New Year’s Eve to various venues where a variety of entertainment will be offered, including gospel, traditional and classical music. Performers that will be participating include the Kanawha Kordsman Barbershop Chorus, Almost Heaven Chorus, Charleston Metro Band, WomanSong, Charleston Civic Chorus, the Gospel Brass Band, Appalachian Children's Chorus, Martin Luther King Jr. Male Chorus and B-Ties Dixieland Band. The program begins at 6 p.m. at most locations, and each program lasts about 45 minutes. GoodNight visitors may park for free in the Virginia Street garage next to City Hall. City trolleys will make continuous loops from all GoodNight locations beginning at 6 p.m. Trolleys will stop at each location throughout the evening to pick up and drop off passengers. An information hotline has been set up for GoodNight at 304-744-1400. The association’s website is www.communitymusicassociation.com.
