A woman is dead after she was hit by a train in Fayette County.
The accident happened in the area of 405 2nd Avenue in Montgomery around 8:30pm Friday.
A press release from the Montgomery Police Department says a 29-year-old woman was hit and killed by a CSX train traveling west bound. At this time, it is unclear why the woman was on the tracks.
