A local car dealership received some special recognition earlier this week.
Joe Holland was presented the 2012 Consumer Advocate Award.
The legal community honored Joe Holland Chevrolet and Imports for its outstanding communication, advertising and marketing initiatives.
Holland said he is filled with gratitude to be recognized among his peers and by his community.
"It makes us very proud that the legal community would recognize a business that's doing the right thing. Most of the time what you read about are lawsuits going back and forth between businesses and the attorneys," Holland said. "For them to recognize and nominate our company, we're extremely proud of that."
Joe Holland Chevrolet has been in South Charleston for more than 45 years.
