A man was charged after police said he was using drugs in a car while a toddler sat in the back seat.
Brandon G. Doneff, 25, of Hamlin was arrested on Wednesday. Deputies said the suspect was parked on Heath Creek Road in Barboursville, according to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court. The suspect was allegedly "shooting" Oxycodone pills while a 3 year old was in the back of the vehicle, the document said. Police said they also found marijuana.
Doneff was charged with child neglect creating risk of injury and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $60,000.
