A search for a Charleston man who never came home after a hunting trip ended tragically when his body was found in Meigs County, Ohio.
Leonard D. Wells, 64, of Charleston, was found in Salem, Ohio, on a piece of property he used for hunting, Meigs County Sheriff Robert Beegle said. He died during a four-wheeling accident.
Wells' wife said he never returned from a hunting trip on Monday, Beegle said. A search team from several area fire departments responded to look for the man in a rural area near the Meigs County-Vinton County line. Wells body was found Thursday.
