A volunteer firefighter was charged Wednesday afternoon with multiple arsons in Webster County.
Blake Marshall Collins, 19, was charged with first-degree arson for allegedly burning two vacant houses and starting three forest fires. State fire marshals arrested the Erbacon Volunteer Fire Department member. His arrest follows an investigation that began early this year by fire marshals, troopers, the Division of Forestry and Natural Resources police.
Assistant State Fire Marshal Mark Lambert said there may be additional arrests.
