FEMA ASSISTANCE One Week Left To Apply For Federal Assistance From Summer Storm Damage

West Virginians with losses from the summer derecho have about a week left to apply for federal assistance.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency registration deadline is Dec. 19, according to a news release from FEMA.
People who suffered losses between June 29 and July 8 and are residents of Boone, Cabell, Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Mason, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Roane, Tyler, Webster counties should apply with FEMA online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 1-800-621-3362 (1-800-621-FEMA).
FEMA grants may help qualified applicants with rental assistance, home repair, medical, funeral, or dental expenses, loss of personal property, or other disaster-related expenses and serious needs.
