A corrections officer accused of trying to seduce an underage inmate was in court Monday.
Latersha Allen, 30, of Oak Hill was arraigned. She pleaded not guilty. Allen was a corrections officer at the James Tiger Morton Juvenile Detention Center in Dunbar.
Police said she was writing sexually explicit letters to a 15-year-old inmate.
