Energy issues were front and center in Charleston on Monday.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin’s 2012 Energy Summit was held at the Charleston Marriott.
The event, titled “Partnerships for Energy Development,” featured speakers and presenters from around the country on topics including the importance of energy to manufacturing, the state’s five-year energy plan, Marcellus Shale development and the economic impact of new Environmental Protection Agency emission standards.
Tomblin was expected to wrap up the event about 3 p.m.
