A Charleston police officer has found himself on the other side of the law.
Corporal Steven "Matt" Webb was arrested in Huntington overnight. He's charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, which are misdemeanors.
Charleston Police Chief Brent Webster says Webb has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Another officer, Sgt. Michael Pridemore, was in the car with Webb. He was not charged, but Webster says he has also been placed on leave while Charleston conducts an internal investigation into the incident.
