Authorities arrested a second suspect in a Scioto County, Ohio, burglary.
Daniel Caldwell, 45, of Portsmouth was arrested after he turned himself in to authorities on Monday. Caldwell was charged with burglary, according to a news release by the Scioto County Sheriff's Department.
Two suspects were in the process of a burglary Dec. 4 when a deputy with the Scioto Sheriff's Department pulled up to the scene. One suspect, Danny Shepherd, 42, of Sciotoville, was arrested, and the second fled, police said.
Deputies have arrested a suspected burglar and are searching for a second in Scioto County, Ohio.
The Scioto County Sheriff's Department responded to a burglary that happened on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at a home on State Rt. 140 in Wheelersburg. When a deputy arrived, she noticed a gray vehicle in the driveway with a person inside, a news release from the sheriff's department said. A second man fled from the home, the release said. Deputies said they found some of the stolen property inside the vehicle.
Danny Shepherd, 42, of Sciotoville, was arrested and charged with burglary. Detectives have issued an arrest warrant for Daniel Caldwell, 45, of Portsmouth, who has still not been located.
