A missing 14-year-old girl who was missing in Ironton has been found.
Family members said she was missing since 4 p.m. on Wednesday while walking her dog. Rescue crews looked for the girl until 2 a.m. and resumed the search at 7 a.m. on Thursday. About 10 a.m., she was discovered in a wooded area near her home.
Members of her family said she complained of neck and back pain, but appeared to be OK. She was sent to the hospital to be checked out.

Law enforcement agencies were searching for a missing 14-year-old girl in Ironton Thursday morning.
Officers with a number of agencies, including the Ironton Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, were searching. The command post was at Ironton Hills Plaza.
Media outlets identified the girl as Amber Farmer.
