A sport utility vehicle landed on its top and went into a ditch in one part of Kanawha County Thursday morning.
It happened about 9 a.m. in the 4000 block of East Dupont Avenue near Cedar Grove, a Metro 911 dispatcher said. At least one person was reportedly trapped inside the red Jeep. No word on the extent of injuries.
Dispatchers said that both lanes of US Route 60 at 4559 East Dupont Avenue, where the accident happened, were closed for about 45 minutes, while crews cleared the scene.
