Traffic was flowing normally and was no longer being diverted Wednesday afternoon following an overnight tractor-trailer accident in Putnam County that caused headaches for motorists for hours.
A Metro 911 dispatcher said about 5:30 p.m. there were no longer any traffic issues along Route 35 near Shamrock Lane over the Buffalo Bridge.
The accident happened about 10 p.m. Tuesday when two tractor-trailers collided, and one of the vehicles rolled over.
After nearly eight hours, crews have removed a tractor-trailer from the roadway after a messy wreck in Putnam County.
Buffalo Bridge is open, but traffic was being diverted Wednesday morning on both north and southbound lanes near Shamrock Lane.
Dispatchers say two tractor-trailers collided Tuesday night along Route 35 near Shamrock Lane over the Buffalo Bridge.
DOH had to use inloaders to remove the debris that was left from the accident.
At least one person is hurt after two tractor trailers crash in Putnam County.
Dispatchers say the accident happened on Route 35 near the Buffalo Bridge around 10pm Tuesday.
We are told at least one of the trucks rolled over and the DOH has been called in to help cleanup the mess. The road is shut down.
