Deputies said they responded to an accident and discovered a meth lab near the car in Carter County, Ky.
The accident happened on Sunday on Stinson Road in Grayson, according to a news release from the Carter County Sheriff's Department. Deputies responded to the accident in which a car ran off the road and wrecked into a deep ditch. Four people were injured inside and had to be taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, the release said.
As deputies were investigating the accident, they said they discovered a meth lab on the ground near the car. A special unit with the Kentucky State Police was dispatched to clean up the lab. The occupants in the car are expected to face charges when they recover from their injuries that are considered to be non-life threatening.
