DRY NOVEMBER November Precipitation Levels Among Lowest On Record For Several WV Cities

The National Weather Service said November precipitation levels in several West Virginia cities are among the lowest on record for the month.
Beckley received 0.68 inches of precipitation. That's slightly above the record 0.66 inches in November 2001.
November also was the second-driest in Parkersburg, which received 0.44 inches of precipitation. The record is 0.11 inches in 1904.
Huntington recorded its third driest November with 0.62 inches of precipitation. The record is 0.10 inches in 2001.
Charleston received 1.05 inches of precipitation, the seventh lowest level for November. The record is 0.45 inches in 1904.
The weather service said normal November precipitation is 3 to 3.5 inches.
