Two Ashland, Ky., men are behind bars accused of stealing hundreds of dollars worth of cigarettes from a gas station.
Kentucky State Police said Michael Barney, 50, and David Spradlin, 56, went into the Exxon on U.S. 60. They said one of the men distracted the clerk while the other stole $500 worth of cigarettes.
Barney and Spradlin are charged with theft by unlawful taking. Both were lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
