A Kanawha County man already in trouble for allegedly sexually abusing children, is now facing more than a dozen new charges as an in-depth investigation reveals more disturbing details.
Clay Counts, 50, is now accused of video taping both children and teenagers engaged in sexual acts at his Sissonville home.
The alleged incidents took place between 2008 and 2011.
In September of this year, the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the West Virginia Cyber Crimes Task Force arrested Counts for child pornography.
As the investigation continued, investigators say even more evidence surfaced. They found several video tapes inside Count's home, depicting children between 10 and 14 years old engaged in sexual acts, often times with Counts. Investigators say the victims are children from the neighborhood.
Counts is charged with 14 counts of first degree sexual assault, along with use of minors in filming sexually explicit conduct. There are even more charges on top of those.
Investigators say they know there are more victims, but they haven't been able to identify them yet.
