Members of the West Virginia Air National Guard are back home after being deployed to Afghanistan for about five months.
Six Airmen from the 130th Airlift Wing flew into Yeager Airport about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials said the members of the 130th Security Forces Squadron were deployed as security for forces operating in Afghanistan.
"It's been a long road...I'm just glad to be back for Christmas. Just glad to be back with my family." said Security Forces Officer Jared Jackson.
This is the second group to return in two weeks. Seven Airmen returned from duty in Afghanistan on Thanksgiving Day.
