A woman and toddler were injured after a tractor-trailer struck their car, State Police said.
The accident happened about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 185 westbound exit ramp on KY 180 in Ashland, according to a news release from the Kentucky State Police. Troopers said the driver of the tractor-trailer lost control and hit a Jeep Cherokee at the intersection.
A woman and a 3-year-old were transported to King's Daughters Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries and were released.
The tractor-trailer driver, Pamela Allbright-Cunnien, 46, of Mississippi, was charged with disregarding a traffic control device and failure to produce an insurance card.
