There is nothing more joyous at Christmas than to see a smile on the face of a child with a new toy.
Eyewitness News wants to make sure there is no shortage of smiles this holiday season.
Once again, the station is partnering with local businesses, community residents and organizations to collect a “Tower of Toys,” with new toy donations going to Union Mission to distribute throughout the area before Christmas.
The “Tower of Toys” drive starts Dec. 3 and wraps up Dec. 14. New toy donations can be dropped off at the station at 1301 Piedmont Road in Charleston. Donations also can be made at the Building and Remodeling Warehouse in Nitro and Best Home Medical in Hurricane or Barboursville. Other partners include Off Broadway Shoes, Nappa Auto and the Kanawha Valley Corvette Club.
So please come help us build a huge “Tower of Toys” that will put smiles the faces of lots of really deserving kids this Christmas.
