As you are preparing to gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, we have been encouraging you to give thanks for those who serve and protect our great state.
Wednesday marks the final day of our "In-Vest" initiative to see that the brave men and women have the bulletproof vests that could potentially save their lives. The drive wraps up during the Eyewitness News newscast at 6 p.m. Eyewitness News Reporter Leslie Rubin will be joined at the station by deputies from across the state to unveil the grand total that has been raised.
