State Police released the name of the man killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Sissonville Drive at Guthrie Road.
John Potter was killed in the accident that happened about 12:30 p.m., State Police said.
A portion of the road was closed but reopened at 3 p.m.

Emergency crews were on the scene of a fatal accident Tuesday afternoon.
It happened about 12:30 p.m. along Sissonville Drive, dispatchers said. One person was confirmed dead at the scene. Eyewitness News has learned that two vehicles were involved in the accident, and one vehicle hit the side of a hill in the area.
Sissonville Drive at Guthrie Road remained closed while crews clear the scene, dispatchers said.
