A controversial tent used for parties at the Governor’s Mansion is back.
Workers put up the white tent in the courtyard of the Governor’s Mansion. It will be used for the five-invitation-only holiday parties hosted by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and first lady Joanne Tomblin.
The first party is Nov. 30.
The tent will remain in the mansion courtyard only until March 15 to allow for additional receptions during next year’s legislative session.
