A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Floyd County, Ky.
Linda Stambaugh, 64, of Russell, Ky., died on Thursday, according to a news release from the Kentucky State Police. Police said the victim was attempting to make a U-turn on state Route 3 in Prestonsburg. The victim's car was struck by an oncoming vehicle, and she was pronounced dead at the scene by Floyd County Deputy Coroner Chuck Hall.
Kentucky State Police are still investigating the accident.
