And many small businesses are gearing up for hunting season.
S & J Custom Meat Processing in Charleston has been non-stop since bow season started. And now with gun season opening, they expect to see a spike in business.
"It will be crazy. We're gonna have deer lined up everywhere. But by Wednesday, we'll probably have to turn people away. We won't have enough cooler space," said owner, Chuck Coffman.
S & J Custom Meat plans to extend their hours to help with the busy season.
