Police are investigating a threatening letter they say was sent to Charleston Mayor Danny Jones.
Sgt. Bobby Eggleton said in a news release that Jones found a dead pigeon, gift wrapped at the end of his driveway about 8 a.m. Friday. A threatening note to the mayor was attached.
Crime scene investigators are processing the evidence and want anybody with information on the package to call the Charleston Police Department at (304) 348-6480.
