Three people have been arrested for their alleged roles in the breaking and entering of the West Virginia State Police detachment in Harrisville.
John M. Richards, 48, of Vienna, David C. Wine, 33, of Parkersburg and William W. Estep II, 25, of Vienna were arrested in connection with the Oct. 30 break-in at the detachment, according to a news release from State Police. An inventory of the detachment showed that some items were taken from the evidence room.
The arrests are the result of an extensive investigation conducted by the State Police with the assistance of the Parkersburg Drug Task Force, the Ritchie County Sheriff’s Department and the Harrisville Police Department.
State Police said the investigation continues and additional charges may be forthcoming.
