Two men were charged with stealing toys that were meant to be distributed to needy children for Christmas.
Aaron Austin Porter, 45, and Michael Daniel Garrett, 47, both of Huntington, were arrested on Tuesday. The two suspects allegedly broke into St. Joe Elementary school in Huntington and are accused of taking several toys that were meant for Toys For Tots and school supplies, according to criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
Porter and Garrett were charged with entry of a building other than dwelling. The charge encompasses breaking and entering and the intent to commit a felony or larceny.
