One group is making sure kids in our area don’t go hungry during Thanksgiving break.
The College of Fine Arts students at Marshall University hosted an event Tuesday called “Pack the Backpack.” For some children, the only meal they have is at school.
The students wanted to make sure children had the necessities they needed during their holiday break. They accepted donations of nonperishable food and toiletries that will go to four Cabell County school pantries to be distributed.
