A major hotel chain is celebrating 30 years of operation in the Capital City.
The Marriott recently underwent an $8 million renovation. Tuesday, hotel workers unveiled the upgraded lobby area and showcased the rooms and meeting spaces.
The hotel has served about 3 million guests since opening in 1982. That means about $90 million for the Kanawha Valley.
