A man was killed after his vehicle struck a guardrail and crashed through a restaurant.
Dennie Carver, 53, of Alkol died in a Kentucky hospital on Monday. The accident happened about 9:30 p.m. in Kermit on U.S. 52, West Virginia State Trooper A. Whittington said. Police said his car hit a guardrail, drove through a yard and hit a restaurant.
Dorothy's Restaurant suffered significant damage, but no one was injured inside. The accident is still under investigation by the West Virginia State Police.
