A couple of restaurants in our area treated Veterans to a complimentary meal, to thank them for their service and sacrifice.
Veterans ate for free at Applebees and Logan's Roadhouse Sunday.
"Applebees believes in reaching out to the community. We do a lot of different things as far as fundraising goes," said Applebees Kitchen Manager Linda Oliver. "And we truly believe in reaching out for our vets to say thank you for all your support and everything they've given to our country."
The restaurant donated 25% of proceeds from Sunday's sales to programs that support our service men and women.
