Charleston police have arrested the man they said took off after they responded to a domestic assault earlier this week.
That alleged assault happened Thursday evening, officer said.
Police arrested Jacobi Smith early Friday afternoon, at a home on the corner of Randolph and Delaware streets, after receiving a tip that he was inside.
Police said Smith took off and threw down a handgun after that alleged assault Wednesday.
No word on what Smith will be charged with just yet. Keep checking wchstv.com for updates.
