A Charleston man whose rented car was linked to a Morgantown murder and shootout was sentenced in Kanawha Circuit Court Thursday in an unrelated crime.
Andre Lee will spend six months in prison in an unrelated crime for breaking a man's arm with a makeshift club.
A plea deal cut his malicious wounding and burglary charges to misdemeanor battery.
Lee was not charged in the Morgantown shooting. A manhunt for the alleged trigger man, Jeron Hawkins, had focused on the car, which ended up at Yeager Airport.
The judge gave Lee a week to report to jail and begin serving his time.
