A Huntington woman who pleaded guilty to stabbing a man to death will now face 10 years in prison.
Ciesha Brown was sentenced Thursday morning in Cabell County Circuit Court. Brown pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in September. Police said she stabbed and killed Lamar Jackson in March 2011 during a domestic dispute.
Brown apologized to Jackson's family in Judge Alfred Ferguson's courtroom. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison and credited with time served.
